Official Album Review Of Fantasia’s Side Effects Of You!

So let me tell y’all something about this album right here! Miss Fantasia then came all the back! I’ll admit that she had fallen off on the music due to her personal life situations that everyone should already know about by now, im not here to discuss her past and what happen because I don’t really care about all that, ALTHOUGH it did have some input on this album. FIRST OF ALL if you haven’t listened to this album you need to go do it.

Okay so let’s get to it for real. The album had a great flow all around. the track selections made all of the sense, it went from a cool vibe in the beginning with the first 6 tracks, I even liked to Interlude with the little mini conversation and bonding that they had and the group singing session, it was cool for what it was. Tracks 7 to the end is definitely where you get your groove going and your rock on. Tasia brought us that true musical feel with some good instruments playing in the background and just an all around soul, specifically on Get It Right, So Much to Prove, and Change Your Mind. When those tracks played the first time I played this album I was like “TASIA YOU BETTER GIVE IT TO ME” Lol PAUSE. I want to go back and say that “Without Me” is my Shit (excuse my language). Fantasia kept it quite chill on that track and the instrumental is great, I love it! I will saw that Kelly and Missy really were not needed on the track, but it’s not bad with them on it so aye it is what it is. I felt like “Side Effects of You” and “Lose to Win” is where she probably put the most deep emotions into on the album. If you say her “Lose to Win” performance on Idol, you could see the passion she had for this song. I feel like she should have had a few more tracks but I wont complain because the album turned out to be good. I just need for Tasia to not disappear. I need for her to keep putting out material for me and the world to hear. Shoot give me a christmas album or even some church music, something! Just don’t go off in the dark somewhere, because I’m going to be mad if that happens.

I strongly suggest you spending the $9.99 and getting it off iTunes or where ever you purchase music from. Its well worth it. I listen to this album all the way through, IT IS THAT GREAT IMO! I give it 5 stars!
